Valentina Vukelic is an artist working at the intersection of sculpture, furniture design and installation. She studied Object Design at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Switzerland before graduating with a BFA in metal art from the Academy of Art and Design HDK-Valand, University of Gothenburg. 

The desire to specialize in Metal originates from the desire to craft and gain mastery of this rigid medium in order to transform it into sensual and durable objects. The plasticity of the material while being in a different state of matter fascinates her as much as the longevity of the final object that captures the expression of her craftsmanship. Like the magic of sizzling and sparks during welding, her intuition feels like a magic connection to the medium of metal.
